I was looking for something to listen to on the way to work this morning, and ran into an old friend of mine: Chula Vista 9-15-85. Second set is one of the hottest of fall 85. It starts with a ripping Scarlet>Fire (trippy twilight zone tuning and nice transition!) and leads to a very nice She Belongs To Me. It’s classic 80's Dead, give it a listen, it will make you smile.

Scarlet Begonias
Fire On The Mountain
Samson And Delilah
She Belongs To Me
Truckin'
Comes A Time
Around And Around
Drums
U.S. Blues
Satisfaction
Encore:
Brokedown Palace

(Interesting note: I didn't realize the Grateful Dead did the opening and closing music to the Twilight Zone TV show during the late 80's.)

this might be the only time that US Blues is the best tune of the entire show and that is not a knock on the show, rather the Dead tap into the Mars Hotel '85 style coming out of space, must be heard...one of the best versions, people dog Useless Blues, but I love the tune, only Sugar Mag might be a better summer song...*and maybe Eyes of the World, allright enough)

My favorite She Belongs To Me of them all.

I'll have to try this one out. Crazy sequence for the second set.
